Kids & Families

How Kids Insight Helps Families

Kids come first — everything we do is done with them in mind. Kids Insight uses an easy-to-understand questionnaire that multiple team members fill out, including teens in care. We compare the child’s input with feedback from his or her caseworker, caregiver, probation officer and teacher. Then, we use the results to make a good plan.

With the help of caseworkers and Kids Insight, we can make sure that kids, bio-parents, and foster parents are active, involved and informed members of the child welfare team.

It let the county know how the child is doing in my home – the tool is the only way for the county and others involved with him to know what’s happening
